This is not suitable for gaming headphones or other headphones.
While it works great as a 9 inch headphone extension cord, you'll be tired of using your mic anytime soon. I've tried all kinds of Windows updates and bug fixes, but the microphone part doesn't work properly. I used my gaming headphones but the mic didn't work AT ALL.
