This product works technically, but not very well. I bought it to connect my laptop to a second display. The USB connection on it isn't very reliable and fits quite freely into my laptop's port. A small movement causes the screen to turn off, which is very annoying. In addition, the software required for this is on a mini disk drive that was simply thrown into the box. He wasn't even tagged. As I write this, the screen has gone black three times. I would recommend looking for another adapter, this one is not good.
