Bought for work. I am a medical doctor and I travel to different places. I needed something that could hold all of my meds, lunch, and the things I usually keep in my purse. That works great. The main compartment is big enough for a full size textbook and there's room on top for my lunch bag! The side pockets have an elastic strap that holds a water bottle so my larger bottle fits in too. I use the second side pocket for my wallet. The "hidden” laptop compartment is invisible but easy to reach when needed. The material has a slight sheen and looks well made. I've had it for a month with no problems. EDIT: 2 years old and no problems, no ripping, no ripping, machine washable!
