I would recommend buying. We have been struggling with the fly problem for a while and I have tried many other products besides this one. The problem with flies is that if you don't control them, they will multiply many times over before you know it. So one night I saw some flies and the next night it was an explosion. All day I did everything I could, including ordering this thing. She came, I pocketed her, opened the patio doors and waited for them all to fly out. So it didn't happen. And suddenly, after 5-7 minutes, they were all lying on the floor and slowly moving. They seemed dazed, unable to move very fast or fly higher. I grabbed a handheld vacuum and it was incredibly easy. Even to my surprise, I went to the kitchen, a few rooms behind the doors, and there were also slow flies on the floor (I didn't even know that we had a situation with flies in other rooms as well). I was hesitant to buy this, sounds too good to be true, usually a scam. But the effect on houseflies makes me think it will justify its other requirements. Impressive.
