This was one of my great grandson's (he's 4 years old) Kings Day gifts and he loved it! The material is soft on the outside and the hat is very soft and cozy on the inside, especially when it is very cold and windy outside. and he wants to play snowballs. The hat covers the face, mouth and neck, except for the eyes of course! I recommend this winter hat, it's quirky and protective.
