Great feel to the case. Let's the phone color shine through. Not too thick but feels like it's protecting the case. The thickness of the case allows the fingerprint reader to function normally. Unfortunately, the long sides of the case are not beveled enough to allow the 'edge' of the Galaxy S8 to be touched. This reduces screen function, as all of the Galaxy S8 phones are 'edge' type screens. This needs a more recessed or beveled side to allow full screen touch access. Probably sending this one back. Still searching for a screen that works with this brand new phone.
