Review on ☕️ Cold Brew Coffee Maker & Iced Tea Infuser Pitcher - Airtight Lid, Thick High Borosilicate Glass Carafe - 51oz/1.5L by Dawn Rodrigues

Review 3/2021: I've been using this carafe to make iced tea for at least five months and it's excellent. not once has it cracked or broken due to sudden temperature changes between hot and cold pouring. I would still advise people to be very careful when changing the water temperature as I have had other brands of carafes break when changing quickly (e.g. pouring hot water into a carafe that just had room temperature water or cold water). Nevertheless, I will buy another one of these because unfortunately I dropped mine and the handle broke. It still sometimes drips when I pour, as I mentioned in my original review, but I've found that it only does so when it's very busy. And I've learned that I just have to water at the right speed - not too fast and not too slow. While it's still annoying, I'm actually giving it an extra star because overall it was so strong and durable. — First rating 10/2020: I have had several glass carafes and this is by far the best! So far, it has withstood rapid temperature changes after a month of continuous use. I've only used it to make iced tea, so I can't speak to its ability to make iced coffee at this time. my process: put in loose tea, rinse, add boiling water, steep briefly, then take out the tea color and add ice. works amazingly well. the lid works great. I've seen a few reviews saying the lid doesn't work well but mine was fine, closes well etc. Personally I don't like/need the measurement lines on the side but I think some people like it, I try , to find a permanent formula, etc. Why not five stars?> This stuff doesn't flow well when very crowded! I've found that it pours a little better when you go slow. but when i fill the thing to the top it spills out to the side.> for some reason i'm having a really hard time getting all the loose tea leaves out of the tea basket. Lately I've been doing my best to clean it with a sponge, let it dry and then shake out the dry tea that I can't remove with a sponge etc. This review was written in October 2020 thanks for reading, hope this helps you.
