I took a chance on this product because last time I tried to do a traditional keratin treatment with formaldehyde I had a horrible reaction. My hair was getting very dry and extremely unmanageable, so I figured I’d give it a try. I did not fully follow instructions, I just applied the product like you would a hair dye. And brushed it basically every 2-3m, I left it on for a whole hour. I rinsed it out as instructed and deep conditioned (diff brand, will try theirs next). But because it was already rinsed out and I typically do not wear my hair straight, I decided to skip the straightening part, and styled as usual. My curls are much more moisturized and nourished, the frizz is greatly reduced and I’m achieving much better definition. My curls loosened to look more like 3b/c curls which I am ok with. As far as reaction my eyes did not sting the smell was actually pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed using this product! Super happy to have tried it! Definitely recommend!Update: The curls only loosened for about 2 weeks. A month later I had no sign of having used this product. More of a very intensive treatment.So I took a chance and applied it like you would a normal keratin treatment. I applied throughout my hair. Let it dry half way 20m or so. And then without rinsing out the product I blow dried it into my hair as it doing a blow out. At the moment my hair felt like straw and thick because of the product. But I expected that. I left it on my hair all day from 12pm-9pm and then before washing it out I gave a couple passes with a flatiron in large chunks. (I was scared to do more as it’s not instructed)My hair is now like 3a/b from very strong 3c super moisturized and very frizz free. Which is more of what I wanted ideally. Definitely loosened my curl pattern***disclaimer it doesn’t say anywhere that you can apply heat, I took a chance***
