Okay, first let me say that I'm the type of guy who uses cotton pads when I need to deep clean my face (especially before shaving when I need a very clean shave). Most pads work but they always get stuck in my beard leaving fibers behind. After a few runs, they are no longer usable, but have served their purpose. These Beauty America pads are different than most pads I have used. They have 2 different sides and an inner layer. I was able to use it on my face with a lot less fiber and the pad was still intact so it could even be used on my neck. The pad has a smooth and textured side that allows for thorough cleaning. My wife tried them too and really thought they worked better than the regular pads we've bought in the past. The price is a bit higher than regular cotton pads, but it's worth it if you use it on your face.
