This product is as advertised and as advertised. It's a great concept and it could really be a game changer, but I'm not going to say it now. First, the product image is a bit misleading. With a mesh that resembles the look of the entire front, you'd think it would be all one big speaker. nope! It's just a tiny speaker in the middle the size of a thumbnail. The quality is what you would expect from something of this size. It's good enough, but not perfect. Second, the push-to-talk feature is a double-edged sword. It's nice to be able to say what you want to say when you want to say it, but when you press to speak the speaker turns off. But frankly, at a party with friends, it sucks. Just because everyone is talking to each other and sometimes starting or ending a sentence when you do the same thing. You'd think this would help eliminate it, but it worries me because I still feel like I want to hear everything. In addition, the paddles are too sensitive. Giving one even the slightest touch activates it. Advantages? It does not consume power from the controller. It can be charged from an external source via a USB to micro USB cable, it looks very elegant, it is very ergonomic and very easy to use. The idea is great, but the reality could be a lot better. If the speaker was bigger and better and I could hear everything I say and it was twice the price I would pay the money. I'm just saying. 3 out of 5 stars.
