It's easy to use and lightweight as a collar and controller. I don't use shock mode, just vibration. The vibration mode isn't adjustable, a design flaw in my opinion, but it doesn't seem too strong for my 36-pound newly adopted mestizo. I mostly use positive reinforcement for training purposes, but a few times on the walk she got fixated on something so interesting that I couldn't get her attention without vibrating (sorry Zach George, but all dogs are different, as you can tell). If I use it and say GO, she comes right back to me and I reward her with a valuable treat. Over time, using vibration mode has become much less necessary. battery life; It charged right away (which was quite a while ago) and I haven't had to charge it yet.
