Elastics worked great for tie-dye dyes, but headbands only contained certain colors (for example I used several shades of green and got a baby blue result like yellow paint in green paint didn't held up - headbands and t-shirts, which I also dyed, came out from the expected shades of green). This leads me to assume that the headband has a very low proportion of natural fibers. Luckily I took care of the elastics, not the headbands, so it's not a huge loss, but you might be disappointed if you expect the headbands to hold up the tie-dye color as advertised.
