This is a completely new style of shoe for me - an interesting semi-formal lightweight composite athletic shoe. The only thing that required me to wear multiple socks. get used to them not using a traditional tongue but more like an ankle high elastic sock = wrap style around a leg collar that rises near the ankle bone. It takes some time to get used to the change in sensation, but it's not uncomfortable. Comfortable, but if you have a narrow heel, that upper fabric collar, instead of the traditional tongue lock, can cause the shoe to slip a bit on the heel when wearing thin material socks.
