I had a bulky lip around the recessed socket which prevented my stand from resting against the wall. I was able to use the included small washers behind the 4 anchor bolts to move the frame about 1/4 inch or less away from that wall so my frame lay flat. I had a clunky issue but because of fixing this issue. I also solved the problem mentioned by another buyer. Namely, if you tilt it all the way, the bottom back of the TV won't snap onto the bottom stand. However, with the help of spacers, this problem was solved, and now the TV can be tilted without: 1. hitting the wall from below 2. in addition to the top, fully fasten the foot of the stand. This can also be achieved by using the supplied standoffs on the back of the TV (instead of screws like mine). This gives you enough room to tilt the TV without hitting the wall and secures all 4 mounting points. Enjoy. It took me over 1 hour to install. Although my setup was a bit trickier.
