Review on 💿 Asus DRW-24F1ST/BLK/B/GEN DVD Writer Optical Drive by Mark Meyer

Works a bit slow but seems to get the job done. At this price I can't complain. Looks good on my rack pc, mostly outside anyway, but the one I got seems to go well with the black theme. Perhaps the manufacturer solved the problem with the color of the bezel. Comes with demo software that allows you to burn data to CDs, DVDs, and Blue Rays. Apparently, if you buy it, it will unlock the ability to create photo CDs, Blu-ray videos, etc. Most of my CD work is either data or audio, and this software doesn't seem to be able to create audio CDs. The software has the look and feel of the old EZ CD Creator interface once you're in it, which is a nice intuitive design. But I'll probably use the Infra Recorder software instead, I don't have to pay to unlock any types of dubbing and recording data with this free software. The Asus drive shows up in the list of infra recorder devices, so I assume it might be in use. We still have to try.
