I'm by no means a mechanic but I can't throw my money away on simple maintenance procedures such as air filter, cabin filter, oil change and the same. It's not that I don't have them, but I don't want them! So I contacted my SAAB dealer for an annual service and the price I got for what they proposed was outrageous (that's what I get when I buy a SAAB!). Anyway, I did a little research and realized that working on my car wouldn't be that bad. I saved 40.00 just to buy the part on Amazon. It took about an hour to install and it works great! If the air quality in your car is important to you, I highly recommend changing your cabin air filter once a year.
