I swim about 56,000 yards a month in the pool and this is by far the best goggles I've ever used (and I've gone through several sets, including all Speedo models). One trick I found for them is to apply a very thin layer of petroleum jelly along the edge that touches your face before use to keep the rubber elastic. Another trick - do not press them on your face to improve absorption, the effect will be the opposite. You need to dress them up in a comfortable, stretchy length, not too tight, they'll easily provide the suction you need.
