Something had to be done to hide the obvious separation between the tub trim and the old tub. Much cheaper than making new. Looks good and is holding up well (so far). The time will show. It was difficult to place evenly with equal spacing on each side. I got by with it, but it wasn't easy and I had to pull myself up twice to reconfigure. Luckily, he retained his sticky power. I would say the J-roll is essential to ensure good contact and eliminate bubbles. It costs an extra $20, but it's still cheaper than a repair.
