I use this kettle at least once a day. I use the water from my wife's Keurig machine to make tea or instant coffee, but the Keurig just doesn't get the water hot enough. This kettle boils water quickly and looks cool while doing it! In fact, it heats up so quickly that I often use it as a "fast track" when I need to boil a pot of water to cook pasta or something similar. I just boil it and then pour it into a saucepan on the stove. The design is beautiful and the product appears to be of very high quality. My only complaint is with the lid. I want it to keep opening up. When you press the button on the lid, the lid opens about 45 degrees. I fill the kettle with a Brita jug and this hole is a bit small and the water doesn't come out to the side of the kettle. However, the lid can be opened further by pulling with the hand. It opens to about 80 degrees, which offers a nice wide opening. I do that every time I fill it up. What worries me is that it makes a popping noise when you first pull it by hand. So I'm not sure if this has a negative impact on the lifespan of the lid. I assume there is a small plastic tab that stops the lid at 45 degrees. So, I think (or hope!) in the worst case, the protrusion eventually wears out, then the lid just pops open fully when the button is pressed (that's really what I want anyway). But I haven't actually checked it, so I don't know for sure.
