Review on 🏎️ Authentic Ford 8R3Z-7277-AA Transmission Gear Change Boot by Todd Mohr

I replaced a 13 year old leather boot and gear knob blank. Installation was fine, but getting the boot into the plastic part just below the ball was a little tricky. I actually had to use a water soluble lube, but that's still a problem. But that means he will stay. Only problem is they cut it short which means if I push the shifter hard into 3rd or 5th gear it pulls the square bottom bracket out of the console. I lowered the blank regulator completely. Seems well made, good leather (I also treat it to keep it supple), consistent color and texture. 1/2 star off because too short. 3 1/2 stars
