Review on ๐Ÿงฅ Amazon Brand Core 10: Women's Water-Repellent Lightweight Woven Rain Trench Coat by David Guerrero

Very waterproof but not very breathable

I'm 5ft 5", 120lbs and usually wear a size down shirt/jacket (except for the old navy, I wear XS). It fits me perfectly, the shoulders were precisely tailored and the ability to tighten at the waist made the whole coat quite flattering for a raincoat. don't worry, you'll also have enough length so you can sit on a wet bench without fear of wet pants! This is not a problem. The sleeves are also long enough to allow you to tuck your arms in if you wish. And it's very easy. a stand-up collar (not quite a turtleneck) that helps give the hood some tension and stays in place. Top. However, if it is very windy, it will be blown away. The only thing I don't like is the inner lining (see attached photo). The description says "breathable" but my skin doesn't agree. Trying it on in my hot hallway (we don't have air conditioning) with a tank top underneath, I could feel the silvery coating clinging to my exposed skin, which was beginning to sweat a little under the coat, and it wasn't the most comfortable feeling. . I really only want to wear this coat for short periods of time in hot weather (e.g. walking from the car to the grocery store) or when it's cooler outside and I can wear long sleeves underneath so I don't have a lot / no exposed skin, to touch the inner lining. I'd say I'm a bit sensitive to the type of fabrics I wear, although for most people this may not be an issue - just something I've personally acknowledged. My old Columbia raincoat had a more breathable inside but wasn't as long and cost more than this coat. However, I think the more durable silver lining in this coat makes it a better windbreaker than my old Columbia raincoat. This is a great fitted coat that really suits your figure, great length and seems fairly waterproof to me (although it only says 'waterproof', I tested it under the kitchen faucet and the water isn't in the Fabric penetrated - see attached photo where water drips onto the surface and is not absorbed at all). This is a good coat for the price and I would recommend it for rainy days in cool weather. Hope that helps!
