Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Skull & Co. GripCase Crystal: Ultimate Dockable Transparent Protective Cover Case for Nintendo Switch [All Hand Sizes] - Animal Crossing by Megan Lewis

An honest review from a Skull & Co fan.

I love Skull & Co. This is one of my favorite brands of accessories for the Nintendo Switch. I have the original grip and I honestly love it, but I always thought some things could be updated for the new version. When I saw this new one coming out, I really liked the idea that you can toggle the grips on and off because it's quite a hassle to now remove the case and switch grips whenever I want. Also, I really liked that this new one has a slight angle which I hoped would give a better grip. Unfortunately, this case didn't work for me. I know quite a few people in the gaming community who love it and I think it really speaks to how different we all gamers are. But I think the grip that holds the switch needs work, it's too loose. It doesn't dangle that it will fall out, but dangles because I don't feel like it's entirely reliable and I think it's going to get sloppy over time. I wish they had kept the smallest grip size from the original and ported it to this grip but unfortunately the smallest ones are pointless and will hurt your hands and the other 2 sets are too big and too big to get used to. . I'm also a bit disappointed that you have to buy a brand new case for this grip as I'm a gamer on a budget and can't buy a new case every time I want to support a company I love by buying one of theirs new buy his products. Unless you want to use a new case, you'll have to constantly remove the new grips, and my biggest concern is the rubber/plastic tracks wearing out from constant sliding. I love where Skull & Co. have gone and hope they come out with a more updated version in the future that addresses some of these issues. I would highly recommend them as a company and you can't go wrong with the original case they made.
