I'm giving this case two stars out of generosity and the fact that I don't build computers all the time so my inexperience could be a factor in my frustration. Pros: This is a very modular case. You can do pretty much anything you want with your components. Would you like to put an AIO CPU cooler on it? You can do it (up to 420). Would you like to prefix it instead? You can do it. Are you turning your hard drive and DVD configuration upside down? You can do it. Looking to pretty much rip everything out and remodel the case from there to suit your build? You can do it. Cons: Oh, where do you even start?! 1. The manual is written in English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Taiwanese, Chinese and Japanese. All with the same diagrams and corresponding language. However, it's a lot of filler which is pretty much useless to me.2. The manual is also poorly designed and pretty darn useless. Instead of using one language at a time, here's what they do (up front): They have multiple pages for specs, case content, and case exploded views. They then repeat that particular passage until they reach the last language on the list, returning to English to talk about anything else related to the case. After the English section ends, in the second part, they move on to the next language on the list. So basically each language has a few pages at the beginning (or their respective positions), and then there's a lot of extra nonsense between what you understand at the beginning and where it shows up later in the manual. Absolutely stupid.3. The biggest problem with the manual is that the instructions are clearly written by someone who has never assembled a computer in their life. See figure (first) above for an example. They have a lot of text in all languages for a lot of things, but the charts are just rubbish. 4. It could be a full-tower case, but if you want to pack large components in it, your dream layout won't be harmed in this case. Example: I wanted to mount the processor heatsink on top, but the case design didn't allow it. So where did it end up? in front of the body. Okay, now I need to move the two 140mm fans up the front of the case to allow the heatsink to fit in their place. Okay, I installed the fans, but now I have to take the DVD/2-bay HDD case out of the case completely because it doesn't fit anywhere. Oh, and what is that? Since the 420's heatsink is in the front, I can't reattach the PSU shroud as it won't install where you have it. I swear if there was software on the internet that would allow you to get the components online, wire them up like you would personally, and see how the build turned out, it would save EVERYONE a problem . This would allow users to understand which case is right for them, it would save places like Revain from accepting returns, and it would save manufacturers from having to accept those returns from Revain. Everyone would be happier. So of course nobody did. 5. If you have no experience assembling computers, then listen VERY CAREFULLY to the following statement: Document, take photos or video of removing parts and screws so you know where to put them back (assuming that everything fits after installing the components). Also give yourself plenty of space to work. Grab a 12-foot plastic table, some Tupperware to hold all the screws, a VCR, and a punching bag to relieve stress. In summary, this is a good case, or at least I'm sure it is. The problem is that it's too modular, too customizable for the average person or hobbyist to use. The instructions, as mentioned, are terrible, and you can break this thing down into a framework if you like. Without some advance planning, this will make some users think too much to take a break.
