Great replacement for Klipsch Promedia 2.1

Tried first to glue a replacement foam surround onto an original Klipsch woofer after it fell apart but didn't work. It's a messy job, difficult to line everything up while the glue dries too quickly etc. Ordering this great value speaker for just over the price of the kit was MUCH easier. It looks very well made and is of great value. There's plenty of bass, and I don't even feel the need to crank the bass control more than halfway. Just a few notes: - The screw mounts fit perfectly and you can use the original screws. - One of the connectors is different. Size and then Klipsch, you can crimp the new connector onto the original wiring. To save time and effort, I simply attached the original narrow crimp connector sideways so that it grips the edge of the speaker terminal. Wrapped some tape around it and it seems to be holding up well. If you notice a buzz after installation, check the case for air gaps. Use silicone, etc. to seal them airtight. - The original grill won't stay in place, I left mine open, but you can probably use spacers + glue to get it to work.
