The crepe maker was well built and looked like it would last a long time. The problem I had was that it didn't provide even heat across the hob. On the hob, the center didn't heat up as much as other spots on the surface. As a result, the center of my pancakes is undercooked. If I let the center cook longer, the edges of my pancake would eventually burn. This is the second pancake I've tried. The first was the CucinaPro CucinaPro 1448 12" Pan and Crepe Maker which ran for 5 minutes before stopping. This had an even heat distribution, but poorer build quality. If anyone has a recommendation for a crepe maker with decent build quality and even heat distribution, please let me know.
