The G305 is a great wireless mouse with decent tracking performance and long battery life. Its physical design is best suited for gamers with small hands, but it can still be good as a travel gaming mouse for those with medium to large hands. -Profile, about 1/8 inch or so shorter than average. If you're used to resting your hand on the back of the mouse, it might not offer as much support. Palm grip gamers in particular should take this into account. It is also worth noting that the sides of this mouse slope downwards. Most other mice either have vertical sides or a slight angle, but this mouse has pronounced internal curves. This shape makes this mouse significantly slimmer than usual and is probably the most comfortable for those with smaller hands. In terms of performance, this mouse does well, but it's not the best gaming mouse I've ever used. Tracking is better than average, but this one has occasional low-speed glitches on my plastic-topped mousepad Buttons have good responsiveness and m media travel Wireless range and transfer rates are good, and the mouse comes with a USB Extension cable supplied for flexible placement of the nano receiver. Downloadable G HUB software makes it easy to customize DPI and mouse buttons, as well as unexpected but very welcome battery savings. The mode can be activated when you are not playing. Just make sure to switch it back to performance mode before your next game, as no automation is offered. Overall, this is a decent gaming mouse, but I'll probably only use it for travel. The flat back and curved sides of this mouse feel a little too small in my adult hands, and I find the regular-shaped mouse more comfortable for extended use.
