This product is very easy to use and works great on wood, tile, linoleum or pergo floors. I can't say it smells exactly like lavender, but it has a pleasant, non-chemical smell. If you don't want to pull out a bucket and mop and take a few steps, that's great. But remember to dust, sweep, or vacuum your floors first for best results.
