Review on πŸ”₯ Cuisinart GR-300WSP1 Griddler Elite: The Ultimate Silver Grilling Machine by Aaron Cruz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out the difference between.

I've spent a lot of time trying to tell the difference between the GR-300 and the GR-150. All of the grills' features appear to be the same, except that the GR-300 has a temperature display and timer. I haven't seen how this small difference in functionality is enough to justify the difference in price. A small difference in the video prompted me to investigate further, but I didn't see the difference described anywhere, neither in the manuals nor on the cuisinart website. But the video showed me something. Has anyone else noticed this? Or did I completely miss a reference to the difference? FOUNTAIN! I bought a GR-300 and accidentally bought a GR-150 as well, confirming my suspicions of a difference! (I returned the GR-150) While the grill/pan is removable and easy to clean, the BIG difference is that the GR-300 has the heating element BETWEEN the grill/pan. The GR-150's heating elements are located under the grill/broiler. Although I haven't tested it, it appears that the GR-300 heats up faster since the heating element is part of the plate design itself. I also like that the readers panel shows you the settings. I have cooked several dishes on gr-300 and I like it very much. Very easy to clean. It takes a few minutes to heat up to 450 degrees, but this is a very good and durable block.
