All of the aforementioned information pertains to revision v2 of the firmware v2.1.6; the operation of other versions may vary. Purchased seven pieces; once I've had some experience with them, I'll write a review. With its positives being: 1) A clever and space-saving design that includes a wall mount, a compact adaptor, and even a hinged lid that can be opened slightly for improved ventilation. 2) A well-considered and uncluttered web interface with a multitude of configuration options. The configuration wizard is sufficient; it allows the user to select the type of connection as well as the Wi-Fi settings. 3) The speeds are not terrible; via Wi-Fi, they are measured at 20 Mbps; via wire, they are measured at 76 Mbps (connection type PPTP). Both speeds were measured from the phone. The speed fluctuates while connected via wireless internet, which is to be expected given the abundance of other wireless networks in the area, but! The average speed that can be achieved with the Kinetic router (1 series) in the same location and operating on the same channels is 6 Mbps. In spite of this, the router may still be had for a very reasonable price. Having this drawback: Websites belonging to the respective manufacturers, as well as the obscurity surrounding the necessary firmware: On the 2022 website, you won't find any firmware for the second revision (and it doesn't even mention anywhere that this is for the first version!). On an international one, there is a second revision, but it is not clear where the revision is indicated on the site. The site is in another language. As you can see in the screenshot, I downloaded it from the section labeled "Firmware - N150RT-V2," and the process went off without a hitch.
