This bell has such a beautiful sound. I didn't want to hang a bell chain on my sliding door so it wouldn't scratch the glass and ring the bell every time I had to use the door. Finlay is 5 months old and I patiently rewarded him for ringing - I followed the instructions and it took him about 2-3 weeks to really get the concept. When he goes outside, he doesn't get treats just to go for a walk. He is immediately happy when he calls to go about his business. He still cleans the house and has only had one accident since he hung up the phone. I love it because he didn't bark to show his distress. I would really consider this for your dog, it works fantastic for our home.
