Updated 6/6/2021; I have downgraded my rating from 5* to 3* as one of the two lines died about a month ago. Updated 06/17/2021; The second string came out too. If you look closely at the solar panels on both chains, the clear plastic cover that protects the solar cells seems to have turned milky opaque and no longer lets sunlight through. Shame as they were fantastic for the year they ran. Buy them again as the failure mode was the same for both lines and the failures occurred 11 days apart. This is a pretty good indicator that this will happen again if I choose the same product. Rating downgraded to 2*. Original review; I have LED strips running along the top of the fence that runs around our backyard vegetable garden (two strings are perfect for the entire perimeter) and two solar panels mounted flush with the top of the fence for maximum sun exposure guarantee. The strings currently turn on around 8:45pm when it gets pretty dark outside and are still on around 4am or so which is a long amount of time. Of course this will change as we move from summer to seasons with less direct sunlight, but that's understandable. Very happy with this purchase.
