I really liked these shoes on my granddaughter (I bought her two pairs in different sizes. They are not tight and have a nice grippy material on the heel and in the foot area on the soles). The nursery said they didn't fit. Not nice enough, so another grandmother bought her lace-up ankle-length shoes. The poor thing can barely walk in children's army boots and now raises her legs very high when she walks. She looks like she belongs in a kids ROTC! My advice? Tell your preschooler to mind their own business and let your kids enjoy these awesome shoes.
