Review on Attom Tech Ultra Thin Cell Phone Ring Stand for Magnetic Car Mount Hook - World's Slimmest Phone Ring Holder, Compatible for iPhone X 8 7 Plus 6S 6 5s 5 SE, Galaxy S8 S7 S6 Edge, Note 8 5 (Black) by Mark Powell

minimalistic ring/stand/mount but temporary

Pros: super/impressively slim (doesn't get caught in jean pockets when trying to put phone away), smaller in diameter than a popsocket, compatible with magnetic holders, can be opened with one hand (if you have at least a few nails), is held with one finger, can place the mobile phone vertically and horizontally. Cons: not as comfortable to hold as a popsocket. It takes a bit of fiddling to find a comfortable/secure holding position with the rotating base. Yes, you only need one finger to hold on to, but what you really want is to have your middle finger through the loop and your pointer and ringer on either side, unless you want your phone is floppy. What I was looking for: I got a unique wood and resin case for my S20+ and I needed a grip that would help me use my phone with one hand, a stand that could support my phone for watching videos, and it was all compatible with my magnetic car mount and took up as little space as possible in my phone case design. Overall: Highly recommended for those looking for a minimalist all-in-one handle/stand/mount solution. PS: I got my phone case through Carved.com Update: After about 3 months the rotating base on the magnetic car mount was free to move so I had to fix it with super glue which made it difficult to hold my hand with the rings quite uncomfortable. After about 3 months the rim of the ring itself became quite loose, allowing the ring to close without my finger underneath. Now the face itself was scratched so badly that it is not so pretty to look at; However, I'm glad it hurt and not my phone case. I'd recommend if you're willing to buy it back every 3-6 months, but otherwise I'd just go with the magnetic backed popsocket (much more convenient and durable).

  • Ok for the most part, but...
