I have 3 of these and highly recommend them. The large size covers enough area around the tray to keep clean under and around the mat. The mat's texture helps it hold onto dirt that falls on it until it shakes off. It's very easy to clean. I gave it 4 stars because I made the mistake of putting it right on the wooden floor. When I lifted the mat to clean the area, the plastic stuck to the floor in several places. It was winter and I guess the heat in the room so softened the carpet leaving bits of plastic on the floor. I recommend putting newspaper or something between the carpet and the floor if the floor is wood.
