Will not fit a 120 lb 3-strand hay bale. A little over half of the bale climbed in. Once you cut the bales they expand pretty quickly so I had to cut the bale and close the hay bag quickly. The thread is not threaded through all the loops like in a normal hay net. It can be very frustrating when the strings come out. The horses made a hole after the first use.
