Very good replacement for a bookshelf speaker. Long story short, I dropped the speaker and had to have it replaced. Since this was for a 5.1 system it only needed to play audio (in this case) for the front left. So this loudspeaker does not reproduce all sound channels. front left only, so audio reproduction in this area is excellent. For those looking to replace/use the speaker as a stereo, you might want to check with another reviewer who uses it.
