My son who is 9 years old wore them 1 time. They looked good but the toe of the shoe was completely torn after 1 day of wearing. He wore them to school and to the playground when he played basketball with friends. Please note that my child is not picky about shoes, this is not a problem for him. Any decent shoe will last you a while. It's not like this. They tore him apart completely, to the point where his toes and socks were showing through a large hole. If your child only wears them in a quiet environment, they will probably be fine.
