. I'd say it's a basic rice bowl for 2-3 people, or a good solid option for a ramen bowl. There are a few small issues. You can't hold this bowl while eating; it transfers heat to the outside of the bowl too easily and there are no handles. When it arrived there were some small white circles on the inside of the bowl so I'm not sure if that means those areas are missing a coating on the ceramic or what. There is definitely a difference in texture when you run your finger over the stains. So it appears that the coating did not fully cover the interior of the shell when fired. Also, just a note: although most photos show what appears to be a suitable spoon, there is no such thing as a spoon. You only get one bowl here.
