Review on H2O Mop Replacement Micro Fiber Pads by Kim Gilbert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The microfiber replacement pads are thinner but work fine

I also checked out the coral blue replacement mop pads, didn't like them. , in order. I believe that both brands are not for sale and decided to try them because the originals are very expensive. The only difference is that they are thinner than the microfiber pads that come with the H2O Mop X5. They do their job well. I would like to share that when I first used these pads I found them useless as it was so hard to press down on the floor. I later realized that this was because I had so much residue on my laminate! I had previously used a waxy product on the floor and was told not to do it as it would peel off and the laminate would be as shiny as you bought it. So I cleaned it (so I thought) and was Murphy's Oily Soap is great and I will continue to use it on my kitchen cabinets. The first, second and third time I steamed the floor, it was stained. I didn't want to steam the floor over and over again in the same day as it is laminate and so laminate cannot get wet. I thought I just spent almost $150 on this vaporizer and accessories and that the discontinued microfiber was no good. But then I found that with each sweep, the mop got easier to squeeze, the streaks disappeared, and my floor got shinier with each sweep. My laminate is great. The best way I can describe it is that the floor with the oil soap was matt and shiny, now my floor is simply BRILLIANT. I'll try to post a photo, but I can't yet. As a previous reviewer noted, you'll need enough cleaning wipes depending on the area you're cleaning and how dirty it is.
