It stank more than the smell I was trying to eliminate.
It stunk. I've put a lot of effort into cleaning second hand furniture that I literally smelled like perfume only to end up reeking of perfume AND that awful smelling product. I even waited a few weeks to see if it would evaporate, but it didn't. I used it twice and regretted it more the second time than the first time.
