Finally something that fits my 2016 Forty-Eight

My 2016 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight has 43mm fork tubes and I wasn't sure if they would fit but after doing some research they did I finally read someone who has tried this with some success. Thought that for $25 crap. And man, that's really good quality for the price! Very cuddly soft rubber with low sheen. I could tell right away they would look good on my 48. I don't have a bike jack at the moment and don't have the extra money to do it professionally so I used the cut and paste method. This means I cut open the seam on the fork boot, simply installed it onto the fork tube, and then used some Loctite brand gel super glue to reattach the seam. It only took 10 minutes per side. A few zips to keep the top in place and you're done. You really have to know what you're looking for to see I glued them on. If anyone is interested in this installation method I would recommend cutting with a new razor blade and using Loctite brand super glue like I did. It sticks very well and lasts 60 seconds on this type of rubber. I went from the top of the boot to the bottom, glued small sections, and it turned out very nicely. If I get a new front tire in the future I might do it professionally but for now I think it looks great. Look at these photos and see for yourself.
