I ordered 3 pieces and tried them on 3 different cats. The pink medium size was too small for a fluffy 9lb cat. The opening with the sleeves seemed too narrow. Blue was ordered in size XL for a cat weighing around 16lbs. It was also too tight. The green one was ordered a medium size but came in a large size. Kitty didn't know how to walk in it, but it fit her better because her legs were shorter. However, I would be happier if the armholes left more room. All 3 cats protested, didn't like it and couldn't walk. While the idea was cute, the end result was 3 frustrated cats not moving. I also bought a reindeer Christmas jumper that was much more stretchy (loose, less restrictive) and had larger armholes. Getting out was less of a hassle and less hurtful for my little girl. I wish she could get used to it but she looked very depressed in it and moved like she was embarrassed and didn't like it so I took it off and will try again. I'm trying to calm her nerves with this. Be warned. Buy a size larger than everyone here recommends. I see too many cats in sweaters that are too tight. When they sweat, they can become dehydrated and sick. EDIT: All sweaters are back on Amazon. Nobody could get used to it and I didn't want to stress them out. I think it was more of a WANT for me and not a NEED for her. Great return experience, so thanks to Amazon for making it so easy.
