NOT FOR FABRICS - Lint Remover

I bought this upholstery cleaner (chenille). It pulled the base threads as I used it parallel to the base threads. When I used it perpendicular to the warp threads it unraveled a bit, but nothing out of the ordinary. Then I tried it on my stair carpet. Wow! This worked very well with my short pile steps and risers.
