This worked very well and was very easy to connect to my phone and listen to music. It is also small and easy to take with you. I haven't used it outdoors and while it's waterproof I've never gotten it wet and have usually moved it around the house to use as a speaker. The sound stopped working after less than 6 months. It connects and says it's connected via Bluetooth and turns on, but now there's no sound. Not sure what happened as it has been working so well for the past few months. UPDATE: First I gave 2 stars and now 5. After I contacted JBL about my issue, they responded immediately. After trying their suggestions to figure out the problem, the sound still didn't work. Since I was able to provide the product number, they determined that it was still under warranty. They sent me a link to print out a shipping label and send my old one back. I got a new one within a week and it works great now. I will say that the JBL customer service has been fantastic as they are very responsive and willing to help with any issue you might have.
