I've had all the typical $15-$25 headphones and after seeing Z's review of the Tin T2 many moons ago I decided to give them a try. They have served me well for many years and were great compared to Skull Candy/cheap Sony etc etc but I haven't been able to find them since I moved so it was time to find another pair of cheaper IEMs . After seeing/reading many reviews I decided to try them along with some deconi tips. I was about to leave the house when they arrived so I tried them out with the interchangeable medium tips that came with them and thought they were terrible. Sounded like metal, fit horribly etc. Arrived home later, replaced the tips with Dekoni and the next day when I went out the difference was night and day. I can't compare them directly to the T2s, but they sound about as good, maybe better, as far as I can remember, and with the replaceable tip, they're comfortable to wear for hours. Also, I won't be too critical as I only use them with my phone so the DACs aren't that great, but my music sounds good enough to my ears when I'm driving to work or whatever I want to do. Compared to all those other headphones, I'd take either the Tin or these any day, and considering I swap them out somewhere every few months or a few weeks, these are by far the best value. I only wish they came with foam tips, I'd pay the extra $15 to have them boxed and not the plastic/rubber they come with.
