Review on Oakley Square Wire Sunglasses: Rectangular Frame Design by Predrag Holman

I know I've heard bad things about moving to China and switching craftsmanship, but I honestly think they're as good as any pair I've bought in the last 25 years. The quality of the lenses is excellent. I went from the old 90's E-Wires to Whisker and Square Wires. From a fashion point of view I will miss the teardrop shape of the old lipsticks, but from a functional point of view you get much better coverage and I get a lot less light around the edges. They contour my face perfectly. They weigh a little more than the Whiskers, 30 grams versus 26 grams, but for those 4 grams you're getting more lenses. The optics of my polarized Black Iridium lens are crystal clear. The quality of the Oakley is amazing, my whiskers still look great 9 years after buying them, I wear them several times a week. The frames feel very light yet strong and are flexible enough to contour and flex. I would highly recommend anyone who likes the e-wires to try these. They might not be for everyone, but they're great for driving, exercising, or whatever on a sunny day at the beach. Maybe too dark for any situation, but that's why I have my Maui Jims.
