I bet on this product and lost!

Whenever I purchase items like this from Revain I try to do my due diligence and do as much research as possible. Sometimes it's difficult to sort all customer reviews because they mix reviews of all "similar" products. I knew buying a 50" Auxbeam 5D lightbar was going to be a gamble based on the reviews but figured I had nothing to lose as most of them were decent reviews. Also, I recently bought 3 sets of their sidelight capsules and they've been great. so far. I just hope they hold up and keep moisture out once I've taken them off-road (which I haven't had a chance to do yet). Back to this light bar and why I gave it a bad review. The pattern of the light beam in this band of light was so inconsistent that it was extremely noticeable when looking at the illuminated area. Turns out the watts/lumens claims are probably overstated and actually not as bright as they claim. Also, the included wire harness was not the same gauge as the pigtails on the lightbar itself (those were smaller wires). That would explain all the other customer comments about cables getting hot, cables getting hot, or in at least one case a blown fuse and fuse holder! As if those two things weren't enough, I didn't notice that the mounting holes on the ends of the bars weren't square. Instead, they are angled and don't match my existing lightbar mounts (I have a Toy Up UTV rack with built-in grommets for a 50-inch lightbar). They include mounts that work with the pole. However, I didn't have to use them and didn't want to create holes just to make them work. Overall you get what you pay for. In most cases. Foreign products, including this one, are usually hit or miss. Too bad because Auxbeam comes highly recommended no matter where they are made. Of course, I have already started the return process and already packed the light for sending it back to Revain. I hope the next lightbar (different brand) I get will be better than this one. So BUYER BEWARE!
