The photo online is not a true representation of how this item covers a standard king size bed. The online image shows the item touching the floor, presumably from the foot of the bed to the head of the bed. As you can see from the photo, our bedspread touches the floor and more on both sides. The purchased item is not valid. The product washes well, dries at low temperature according to the seller's instructions, does not shrink or wrinkle. The material is nice and not heavy, but microfiber can retain heat, TBD. The design is fine. Looks good, have a look. Overall I could have given this item a higher initial rating had it been a double bed size. Buy this size for a queen.
