Functional but not soft or slippery

I bought these to replace the nose pads on my Oakley Conductor 6. The pads are easy to apply and work. However, these Askana pads are nowhere near as soft as the original Oakley pads. Also, they don't offer the same support and my glasses fall off if I move too fast, which wasn't the case with the original pads. They will work in the medium term, but I'm already looking for a long-term solution.
