Of course I looked at $8-9 remotes first, but everyone I tested said not all the buttons worked. Surprisingly, the company sells a replacement remote that has all the buttons, but not all work as intended. Some reviewers of cheap remotes said they stopped working after a few months. I'm happy to report that ALL the buttons on this remote control work just like the original. I have a 7.2 speaker system, so I often adjust the balance on them and also choose the type of sound setup. The volume control on my Denon stopped working and I just assumed it was the AVR at first, but I looked into replacement remotes just in case and saved myself about $1000.
